We are seeking a motivated individual to be a part of our Crisis Response Team in the FULL-TIME position of Crisis Evaluator to respond to crisis situations by phone or in person. The evaluator is dispatched to complete crisis evaluations for children and adults in a variety of community settings throughout the Denver Metro Area. CRT Evaluator

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3PM - 11:30PM

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform mental health assessments, including mental status evaluations for individuals experiencing a psychiatric crisis. These assessments may take place at AllHealth Network locations and/or in the community such as in hospitals emergency rooms, police stations, jails, juvenile detention facilities, courts of law, homes, etc. Provide clinical interventions and make appropriate dispositions based on assessment findings.
  2. Participate in the development of plans to meet the mental health needs of children, adolescents, and adults; including their respective families.
  3. Provide joint evaluation and assessment services with community partners including Human Services, police and sheriff departments, schools, probation, detention, etc.
  4. Refer for ongoing services both within AllHealth Network and to community agencies as appropriate.
  5. Provide consultation services regarding the needs of clients and/or family members experiencing a mental health emergency.
  6. Provide court-ordered mental health evaluations and pre-screening in detention facilities. Assist with answering the phone, gathering needed information
  7. Work collaboratively with all referring community providers to gather needed information to determine if a client meets clinical admission criteria for Bridge ATU. Utilize the Medicaid portal or Emdeon to verify insurance for all clients requesting Bridge ATU admission.
  8. Assist with answering crisis phones providing thorough risk assessment and intervention that is appropriate to caller needs.
  9. Expected to demonstrate exceptional customer services focus, clear communication, and professionalism at all times with clients, co-workers and outside agency personnel in order to provide high quality, trauma informed, and recovery focused services and to enhance community relationships.
  10. Participate in the Crisis Response Team meetings, AllHealth Network meetings as required, All Staff meetings, trainings and individual and group supervision as required.
  11. Complete all required clinical and administrative documentation accurately, legibly, and by established timelines on agency computer system and paper as needed. Notes are to be entered the same day the service is provided.
  12. Complete and follow through with financial and clinical information necessary to ensure reimbursement for services provided to consumers by all payers.
  13. Expected to follow all AllHealth Network clinical policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including those related to confidentiality, release of information and record keeping.
  14. Perform other duties within the scope of the position and the experience of the employee as may be requested or required by Supervisor.

 

 

Qualifications: 

  1. Education: LMFT, LCSW or LPC required B. Experience: One year experience providing crisis interventions preferred.
  2. Knowledge of psychiatric assessment procedures, short-term and solution focused psychotherapy theory and techniques, community resources, etc.
  3. Skills: Ability to work closely with physicians and other community professionals; articulate evaluations and assessment findings as will as treatment plans; develop coherent, time-limited and solution-focused treatment plans; compromise and negotiate within and across agency boundaries; provide mental status examinations; diagnosis and treat mental health disorders; provide short-term, solution-focused individual and family psychotherapy, etc.
  4. Other: Ability to lift equipment and supplies up to 15 lbs. Must possess own transportation, have a good driving record, a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
