We are looking for full-time and part-time Psychiatrist.



Position Summary:

The staff psychiatrist provides evaluation, assessment, and follow-up appointments for clients with mental health and substance abuse diagnoses.  This position is responsible for direct service to clients, as well as consultation to clinical staff. The medical provider is a member of the inter-disciplinary treatment team.    









Provides psychiatric assessment/evaluation of children, youth and adults with mental illness who are referred to AllHealth Network outpatient office.  Responsible for evaluating and monitoring client's medications, including any side effects or adverse reactions.



Responsible for the evaluation and/or referral of client's medical conditions. Coordinate with clients PCP to provide continuity of care.



Provide consultation to staff regarding the medical problems and medications of clients.



Training and education responsibilities as delegated by the Medical Director or Division Director.



May be asked to provide psychiatric coverage when other psychiatrists are absent.



Complete all required documentation legibly, by established time frames, and to accepted standards of practice.



Attend and participate in the inter-disciplinary treatment team meetings each week (Aquarius team meetings) and regular medication services team meetings. Attend other ADMHN meetings as requested (e.g., All-staff meetings).



Attends and participates in client staffings and treatment review meetings as requested.



Will assure comprehensive patient education when initiating and/or monitoring medication and will assess and document the client's level of comprehension. Whenever possible will provide the client with written educational materials.



Provide consultation, education, and coordination of services to community agencies and citizens as requested.



May be expected to serve on agency committees.



Expected to follow all AllHealth Network clinical policies and procedures as applicable to this position including those related to confidentiality, release of information and record keeping.



Ensure productivity standards are met by providing a minimum of 30 billable hours per week to clients. Provide agency with 90-day notice of termination.



Complete Relias Learning requirements and participate in relevant training opportunities as requested.



Perform other duties within the scope of the position and the experience of the employee as may be requested or required by your supervisor.







Doctorate or better.

PHD or better.



Must be eligible for Medicaid certification. Proof of license required. Proof of current Colorado medical license required.


Graduate of an approved medical school and board certification within three years of employment with AllHealth Network.
