Call Center/ Access to Care Specialist


Position Summary:           

Works as part of an 8 person team that responds to and manages incoming calls to AllHealth Network.   Call center Representatives interface with clients and the community to assist in the navigation of behavioral health services, link clients to internal and external providers of care, setting appointments and helping members identify needs and access needed services. Documents care and calls in an electronic system.



  1. Education: High School/GED require, BA/BS, preferred.
  2. Experience: Minimum two year related experience required with high-volume Call Center experience preferred.
  3. Skills:
  4. Other: Strong computer and communication skills. Calmness under pressure.   Superior customer service skills, organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.   Familiarity with multiple line telephone system, voice mail, copiers, faxes machines.  


Ability to lift equipment and supplies up to 15 lbs.




  1. Answer calls, set appointments and provide responses to requests for information and services. Schedules mental health appointments by phone, collect insurance and other pertinent information to enter client data directly into computer system.
  2. Schedule such inquiries in a manner consistent with AllHealth Network policies and procedures.
  3. Document all activities in electronic medical record.
  4. Monitor providers' schedules and schedule visits to maximize clinic productivity; this includes "back-filling" open slots.              
  5. Maintain positive working relationships with clients, peers, agencies, and the general public.
  6. Participate in meetings as appropriate to this position and to the Network.
  7. Expected to demonstrate customer service focus, effective and knowledgeable communication and professionalism with consumers, co-workers and outside agency personnel in order to provide high quality services and to enhance community relationships.
  8. Expected to follow all AllHealth Network policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including those related to confidentiality, release of information and record keeping.
  9. Must consistently complete all required documentation accurately, legibly, and by established timelines.
  10. Complete Relias Leaning requirements as requested.               
  11. Perform other duties within the scope of the position and the experience, education and ability of the employee as may be requested or required by a supervisor or manager.
