Helpdesk Administrator


 Position Summary:  


The Helpdesk Administrator is responsible for providing excellent customer service support to our centers and remote users. This technical support position will interact with our internal users through email, instant message, phone support, and in person. This position requires a hands-on, dynamic person with a special blend of technical, business and communication skills. This role includes helpdesk support, P/C/Telecom administration, and application support. We are looking for someone who values team culture and can work in a fast-paced environment.




 Education:    Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from a two year college or technical school.

 Experience:   Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; Virtual Server implementation, management and best practices; General environment hardware management, PC repair and modifications; Experience troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues; Troubleshoot wired/wireless network and Internet connectivity issues; Diagnose and correct problems with printers or multi-functional devices; Provide technical training and/or assistance to end users; Third-party infrastructure solutions including back-up, document management, collaboration, security, antivirus/anti-malware systems, cloud services, etc.; physical and network security; User desktop support; Disaster recovery.


Other:        Ability to lift equipment and supplies. Must pass background check and employment history review. Professional conduct, presentation, language and attire is required at all times.

  11. Maintain record of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial action taken, and installation activities
  12. Read technical manuals, confer with users, and conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems and to provide technical assistance and support
  13. Collect data by identifying sources of information; designing survey and collection methods
  14. Organizes information by studying, analyzing, interpreting, and classifying data
  15. Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information
  16. Prepare reference material for users by writing operating instructions
  17. Maintain historical records by documenting system changes and revisions
  18. Maintain client confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
  19. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  20. Rotating schedule with shift flexibility
